Melo's delivery: Liverpool and UK wide

Our food delivery service is available within Liverpool and throughout most of the UK. Delivery within Liverpool is undertaken by Melo's vans. Deliveries outside Liverpool are entrusted to a national courier Company with excellent reputation and with several years of experience in the field.


Are some items only available in specific locations?

Yes. Categories marked Liverpool Delivery Only are not available for delivery outside. This restriction applies to a small number of items such as Fresh Items (Butcher meat cuts, Veg and Fruit), frozen items, Chilled and Dairy Items.

How soon is Melo's grocery delivery in Liverpool and the rest of the UK?

Orders can be delivered same day in Liverpool and within 2-5 working days elsewhere provided order is received by cut off point. 

To ensure same day delivery in Liverpool, the cut off point is 3pm.

On the rare occasion your chosen product is out of stock, we will refund you the item and send the rest of the order.

Is there a minimum order and what is the Delivery Charge?

No. There is not a minimum order but Delivery Charge for all orders 

Delivery Charge is £6.95 but this is discounted as below

Liverpool Orders for orders above £25 is FREE

Nationwide Orders for orders above £50 is FREE


We Deliver Locally in Liverpool from Monday to Saturday, no deliveries on Sundays

For orders placed on Saturday afternoon after the cut off period, delivery will be the following Monday.

(Excluding Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Guernsey Islands, and Northern parts of Scotland inc. all Scottish islands)


What do I do if I won't be home for delivery? (for deliveries via courier)

Please ensure that we are given instructions if there is somewhere specific you want the parcel left, for example, with a neighbour. You can add or edit these instructions for your chosen delivery address in the Address Book section of My Account. Alternatively, contact us and we will pass the new delivery instructions to the courier company.


If there is no one home, the courier will leave a Missed delivery note, and will attempt to deliver again the next day. You can request the courier to leave the items in a safe place using your consignment number. If the delivery is left in the safe place of your choice, the delivery is considered complete.

Delivery instructions messages

You can add useful information for the delivery when you add an address, i.e. Red door. At checkout there is a further option to add Delivery instructions. Please note this must be 60 characters or less.

Important information

When ordering items adding up to a certain weight, for example high quantities of water bottles or cases for outside of Liverpool, we will offer Courier Company that will deliver to your property, for a variable price which depends on weight and distance. Please contact us if that is the case on
